Israel allows some Gaza exports, one month after truce

GAZA/TEL AVIV, June 21 (Reuters) - Israel allowed a limited resumption of commercial exports from the Gaza Strip on Monday in what it called a "conditional" measure one month after a truce halted 11 days of fighting with the Palestinian enclave's Hamas rulers.

Gaza border officials said the easing of Israeli restrictions would last two to three days and would apply to agricultural goods and some textiles.

Israel issues demolition orders to 8 Palestinian properties in West Bank

18 June 2021; MEMO: Israeli occupation forces today issued demolition orders against eight Palestinian structures in the village of Jawaya, based near Hebron, reported Wafa news agency.

Coordinator of the National and Popular Committee in southern Hebron, Rateb Al-Jbour, said that Israeli forces barged their way into the village and handed six villagers demolition orders for their property.

Israel cop charged one year after killing autistic Palestinian

17 June 2021; MEMO: An Israeli Border Police officer has been charged with reckless homicide following the murder of Eyad Al-Hallaq, an autistic Palestinian resident of East Jerusalem.

The 20-year-year-old Border Police officer had charges filed by the police misconduct investigation unit today and faces up to 12 years in prison.

15 June 2021; MEMO: The Deputy Commander of the military wing of Hamas, Marwan Issa, has said that the Palestinian prisoners' file will "shock" the occupation authorities and the resistance will surprise "enemies" as well as "friends". The official with Al Qassam Brigades made his comments in a documentary aired last week on Al Jazeera.
