No political motives behind attack on Belarusian diplomat — Belarusian foreign minister

MINSK, July 25. /TASS/: Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makey said on Thursday he sees no political motives behind the attack on his country’s diplomat in Ankara.

"Investigation is underway. There are no political motives behind the incident," he told journalists.

Moscow studying details of Ukraine’s detaining of Russian tanker

MOSCOW, July 25. /TASS/: Moscow is investigating the circumstances of Ukraine’s decision to detain a Russian tanker to take appropriate steps, the Russian Foreign Ministry told TASS on Thursday.

"We are studying the details of what has happened to take appropriate measures," the Russian diplomatic agency stressed. "If the Russians were taken hostage, then this will be qualified as a brazen violation of the international law and consequences will ensue quickly."

The document published on the official website of legal information, in particular, instructs Russia’s Foreign Ministry to notify the Republic of Turkey of the partial renewal of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on conditions for mutual visits of citizens of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey dated May 12, 2010."

Ukraine seizes Russian tanker in Black Sea
