KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges Friday after testifying he acted in self-defense in the deadly Kenosha shootings that became a flashpoint in the debate over guns, vigilantism and racial injustice in the U.S.

Rittenhouse, 18, began to choke up, fell forward toward the defense table and then hugged one of his attorneys as he heard a court clerk recite “not guilty” five times. A sheriff’s deputy whisked him out a back door.

Nov 19 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden and Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador have pledged to create a working groups on arms trafficking and related transborder crime and border security, the White House said in a statement issued Friday.

Biden and Lopez Obrador also announced a joint investment to address causes of migration, increase incomes for small farmers and reduce deforestation in southern Mexico, the White House said of Thursday's meeting of the two.

U.S. House panel subpoenas former Trump aide Navarro over alleged interference in COVID-19 response

WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- A U.S. House panel probing former President Donald Trump's administration's response to the COVID-19 pandemic issued a subpoena Thursday to his onetime aide, Peter Navarro, asking him to produce documents and appear for a deposition.

Navarro served as director of the White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy and an assistant to Trump.
