Belarus: Lukashenko arrives in Russia on working visit — report

MINSK, September 14. /TASS/: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Russia on a working visit, the BelTA news agency reported.

It earlier reported that the Belarusian leader departed for Russia to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 15. The report didn’t say where the meeting would take place.

India: 10 Missing As Boat Capsized In Bihar

NEW DELHI, Sept 14 (NNN-PTI) – At least 10 people went missing, while 20 others were rescued, after a boat carrying them capsized today, in the eastern Indian state of Bihar, officials said.

The boat capsized in the river Bagmati in Muzaffarpur district, about 73 km north of Patna, the capital city of Bihar.

Following the accident, authorities rushed rescuers and disaster management officials to the spot, to carry out search and rescue operations.

Serbia: Vucic says meeting with Kosovar PM in Brussels unsuccessful

BELGRADE, September 14. /TASS/: Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that his consultations with Prime Minister of unrecognized Kosovo Albin Kurti held in Brussels on Thursday were unsuccessful.

"We had talks, and I think they were unsuccessful in terms of finding a direct way to normalize relations. We all have our proposals. In the end, we accepted the EU’s compromise proposal, which Kurti was not ready to accept, and the meeting ended," the Serbian leader told reporters.

10 dead, 9 injured in minivan-truck collision in southern Peru

LIMA, Sept 14 (NNN-XINHUA) — At least 10 people were killed and nine others injured after a minivan and a dump truck collided head-on on Tuesday night in southern Peru’s Arequipa region, media reported Wednesday.

The accident took place at the entrance of a tunnel at about 9:10 p.m. local time (1410 GMT) and two minors were among the dead, the reports said.

Police and firefighters arrived at the scene to help the victims and clear the road.

Local police have started a preliminary investigation to determine the causes of the accident.

Satellite images show damage to Russian naval vessels struck in Ukraine attack

KYIV, Sept 14 (Reuters) - A Ukrainian missile attack on the Sevastopol Shipyard in Russian-annexed Crimea this week caused heavy damage to a large Russian landing ship and submarine, commercial satellite imagery showed.

Kyiv said on Wednesday the two vessels were likely beyond repair after the pre-dawn missile attack on the port city of Sevastopol. Russia's defence ministry confirmed the strike, but said the vessels would be fully repaired and return to service.

Brazilian president swears in three new ministers
