Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that a meeting of Joint Commission of the JCPOA was not on the agenda and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahanian would meet bilaterally with JCPOA participants.

Khatibzadeh made the remarks on Tuesday in response to the French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian’s statement that the Join Commission of the JCPOA would convene a meeting in New York.

21 Sep 2021; MEMO: Iranian Minister of Defence, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, yesterday warned Israel against committing any "foolish act" against the Islamic Republic, saying "the Iranian people will respond forcefully" to any aggression against them.

Responding to recent Israeli threats against Tehran, General Ashtiani said: "The Iranian people, without a doubt, will respond forcefully to any foolish act by the enemy", adding that the Islamic Republic's enemies "will pay a heavy price for any aggression."

20 Sep 2021; MEMO: Iran will provide Lebanon with additional fuel whenever the Lebanese government requests it, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said yesterday.

"Iran is determined to cooperate with and assist friendly governments. In this case, there was a request from Lebanese businessmen. The buying and selling process took place normally and the shipment had been sent," Khatibzadeh said.

TEHRAN, Sept 19 (NNN-IRNA) – Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi, described the full membership of Iran in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), as a “diplomatic success.”

“The presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a key member of the SCO, creates a strong economic connection for the people of our country, which means, connecting Iran to the economic infrastructure of Asia,” Raisi said, upon arrival in Tehran, from the Tajik capital of Dushanbe.

Tehran, IRNA - Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri warned terrorist groups settle in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region that if they continue evil activities, Iran would dismantle all of them.

General Baqeri said that officials in Iraqi Kurdistan Region do not care about the issue, adding that the weaknesses of Iraq’s central government are caused by US presence in the country, all of which have caused active presence of terrorist groups in northern Iraq.

TEHRAN, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- A new chapter is emerging in the relations between Iran and Tajikistan, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Saturday at a joint press conference with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe.

Raisi described the cooperation agreements signed during the visit to Dushanbe as an evidence of the two countries' will to broaden relations.

TEHRAN, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian voiced on Friday Iran's "full satisfaction" regarding the official launch of the procedures for Iran's accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in the SCO's summit in Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe.

"We are fully satisfied that the document of Iran's permanent membership in the SCO has been approved in Dushanbe by the (member states) leaders," Amir Abdollahian wrote on Twitter.

TEHRAN, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Iran reached an agreement on Sunday, in possibly an instrumental step for the continuation of nuclear talks.
