YEKATERINBURG, July 10. /TASS/: Foreign partners remain interested in cooperating with Russia, despite all the attempts to cut it from global supply and payment chains, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at the plenary session of the Innoprom international industrial exhibition.

"We see the interest in the Russian economy is not merely keeping but is growing, despite all the attempts of opponents to cut us from global manufacturing chains, logistical routes and systems of financial payments," the Prime Minister said.

UAE Plans To Employ AI In Various Fields To Accelerate Digital Transformation

DUBAI, Jul 10 (NNN-WAM) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is committed to embracing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and tools, across various sectors, to accelerate the country’s digital transformation, said Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, the county’s minister of state for artificial intelligence, digital economy, and remote work applications.

Al Olama made the remarks, during a meeting of the UAE Council for Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain held at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in Dubai.

Ukraine claims advance in east and south, gains near Bakhmut

KYIV, July 10 (Reuters) - Ukraine said on Monday its troops were advancing in the east and south of the country, and signalled they were tightening the noose around Russian troops occupying the eastern city of Bakhmut.

Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar said Kyiv's troops had taken back 10.2 square km (3.9 sq miles) of territory in the south and four sq km in the east in the past week of a counteroffensive against Russian forces.

Iran says to ensure "maximum security" for Azerbaijani embassy after armed attack

TEHRAN, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said on Monday his country will ensure "maximum security" for Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran.

He made the remarks at a weekly press conference in Tehran, commenting on a January deadly attack on Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran, after which Baku decided to shut down the mission, according to a statement released by the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

Kanaani said Iran is well aware of its responsibility of ensuring the security of diplomatic missions on its soil and will act responsibly in this regard.

USA: Yellen says Washington might ‘respond to unintended consequences’ for China due to tech export curbs

BEIJING (AP) — Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Sunday said she agreed Washington will listen to Chinese complaints about security-related curbs on U.S. technology exports and might “respond to unintended consequences” as she ended a visit to Beijing aimed at reviving strained relations.

Yellen defended “targeted measures” on trade that China’s leaders complain are aimed at hurting its fledgling tech industries. She said the Biden administration wants to “avoid unnecessary repercussions” but gave no indication of possible changes.

USA: Ron DeSantis supports revoking China's trade status

WASHINGTON, July 9 (Reuters) - Republican U.S. presidential candidate and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said on Sunday he would take steps to revoke China's permanent normal trade relations status if he won the 2024 White House race.
