BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — What many deemed impossible just months ago is reality: Right-wing populist Javier Milei resoundingly won Argentina’s presidency.

And with his victory Sunday night, the fiery freshman lawmaker has thrust the country into the unknown regarding just how extreme his policies will be, following a campaign that saw him revving a chainsaw to symbolically cut the state down to size.

Indian capital resumes some activities despite hazardous air, river foam

NEW DELHI, Nov 20 (Reuters) - India's capital Delhi re-opened schools and some building sites on Monday amid signs of receding air pollution, although it remained classified as hazardous, while a toxic foam besmirched stretches of the Yamuna river flowing through the city.

The world's most polluted capital resumed its annual battle on pollution this month, despite government pledges to improve. Monday's air quality index (AQI) of 336 was down from Thursday's level of 509, but still "hazardous", Swiss group IQAir said.

Iranians Stage Rallies In Support Of Palestinians In Gaza

In a rally in Tehran, protesters chanted slogans against the United States and Israel, while expressing support for the Palestinians in Gaza, particularly the children.

Russia: Over 10,000 residents of Belgorod Region moved to safe places since start of special op

Iran unveils new homegrown hypersonic missile

TEHRAN, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) on Sunday unveiled a new domestically-developed hypersonic ballistic missile, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported.

The missile, dubbed Fattah-2 (Conqueror-2), was unveiled during a visit by Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to an exhibition of the achievements of the IRGC's Aerospace Force in the Iranian capital Tehran, the report said.

According to Tasnim, Fattah-2 is equipped with a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV) warhead that can maneuver and glide at hypersonic speed.
