TEHRAN, Sept 21 (NNN-IRNA) – Spokesman of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Saeed Khatibzadeh, urged the United States to “return to the global community” and perform its duties.

“The world has reached nothing but insecurity, war and instability with U.S. actions,” Khatibzadeh said, in his weekly press briefing.

The Iranian spokesman was commenting on remarks made by U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, who claimed that “the United States is returning virtually all United Nations sanctions on Iran.”

Chabahar, Sept 21, IRNA – The Managing Director of Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO) Behrouz Aqaee said on Monday that two container ships carrying kitchen utensils, detergents and wheat from India and UAE to Afghanistan docked in Chabahar Port.

Speaking to IRNA, Aqaee said the two ships consisted of 666 containers.

Tehran, Sept 20, IRNA - Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani in a message said with active resistance of Iranian people, Trump's drones will continue to crash.

"#Iran's downing of the US Global Hawk drone in Persian Gulf set off collapse of America's 'virtual drones' incl its backing of riots, continuing arms restrictions & return of economic sanctions," Shamkhani wrote on his Twitter account.

"With the Iranian people's #Active_Resistance, #Trump's drones will continue to crash," he added.

21 Sep 2020; MEMO: The Iranian Foreign Ministry said Sunday the US was facing international isolation over its decision to re-impose sanctions on Tehran, according to the official IRNA news agency, Anadolu reports.

“The US stands at the wrong side of history and our message for it was to return to the international community, to your commitments, stop rebelling and the world will accept you,” ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh told a news briefing.

TEHRAN, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Iranian foreign minister said on Saturday that the United States will not be able to restore pre-2015 sanctions against Iran in its unilateral attempt in the UN Security Council.

The United States lost its authority pertaining to any action in the Iranian 2015 nuclear deal when it withdrew from the accord in 2018 unilaterally, Mohammad Javad Zarif said in a televised speech.

The U.S. officials themselves are well aware that their attempt is "void," but they are resorting to "bullying" policies in international relations, he said.

Tehran, Sept 20, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said in his weekly press conference that Tehran’s message to Washington is that the US needs to stop roguery, if it wants to return to the international community.

Khatibzadeh commemorated the Holy Defense week (starting on September 21).

He said that in the recent days, Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif has talked with his counterparts from Armenia, Afghanistan, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Tehran, Sept 20, IRNA – Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Monday saying that the approach of the current regime of the US is a big danger for international peace and security and “an unprecedented threat to the United Nations and the UN Security Council.”

If the US or any of its few pawns makes a move in line with these threats, it will face a serious reaction and will be held accountable for all its dire consequences.

17 Sep 2020; MEMO: Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, on Tuesday accused the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain of seeking to grant Israel bases in the Gulf region, warning that they should bear the consequences of their actions.

Rouhani described the Gulf countries’ normalisation agreements with Israel as a “violation of regional security and international resolutions”, saying, “we are surprised at how those who claim to be Arabs reach out to those who kill Palestinian Arabs every day”.

TEHRAN, Sept 15 (NNN-IRNA) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry, on Monday, lambasted an American press report about an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate the U.S. ambassador to South Africa, in revenge for the killing of top Iranian commander, Qasem Soleimani.

“We advise U.S. officials to refrain from resorting to repetitive and rotten methods, to create anti-Iranian atmosphere on the international stage,” the ministry’s spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said.

15 Sep 2020; MEMO: Iran yesterday dismissed claims it is planning to assassinate the US Ambassador to South Africa, Lana Marks, in retaliation for America’s assassination of its General Qassem Soleimani, news agencies reported.

Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said: “We suggest that the Americans prevent worn-out tricks to create propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
