'Normalisation talks with Israel started in 2018': Morocco foreign minister

Bourita stated that the normalisation talks with Israel started in 2018, and that the key player in supporting this process was King Mohammed VI.

India: New agri laws making farmers feel insecure: Pilot

Jaipur, Dec 24 (PTI) The Centre should repeal the new agri laws as they are making farmers feel insecure about their future, Congress leader Sachin Pilot said on Thursday.

The former deputy chief minister of Rajasthan said the Congress is working hard to ensure that the organisation and the state government fulfil the promises made to the people of the state.

"The centre should stop being stubborn and withdraw the farm laws with immediate effect. The farmers are feeling insecure about their future. They are very concerned, Pilot told reporters in Pali.

India: Govt ready for amendments to farm laws: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, Dec 25 (PTI) Appealing to protesting farmers to come forward for discussions on farm laws, senior BJP leader and Union Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said the government will amend the legislations if they are not found beneficial.

Describing the protesting farmers as his own people, Singh said, "Those who are sitting on dharna are farmers and are born to farmers' families. We have lot of respect for them."

Libya: ICC concludes third visit to investigate Haftar's crimes

24 Dec 2020; MEMO: The International Criminal Court (ICC) has concluded its third visit to Libya on Wednesday to investigate the crimes committed in the country by the militia of General Khalifa Haftar.

According to a statement issued by the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs: "The team of the International Criminal Court Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda has completed its third visit to Libya, as part of documenting crimes committed against civilians."

24 Dec 2020; MEMO: Speaker of the Algerian People's National Assembly Slimane Chenine reaffirmed his country's firm position on the Western Sahara issue and "the people's right to determine their fate."

In an interview with Israeli news website Walla! on Wednesday in Rabat, Bourita stressed that the ties with Israel: "Will be entirely normalised, and we intend to go the whole way in this regard."

Tunisia: 'We reject normalising relations with Israel

This declaration came in the first statement released by the Tunisian authorities following Morocco's announcement of its normalisation agreement with Israel.

Pakistan tells UAE it rejects normalisation with Israel

23 Dec 2020; MEMO: Pakistan cannot and will not recognise Israel before a "concrete and permanent settlement" of the Palestinian issue is reached, the country's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Monday.

"I categorically presented Pakistan's stance on Israel to the UAE's foreign minister that we will not and cannot establish a relationship with Israel until a concrete and permanent solution to the Palestine issue is found," Qureshi told reporters in the northeastern Multan city.
