21 Oct 2021; MEMO: The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement hailed on Wednesday Malaysia's rejection of normalisation of ties with Israel.

Hamas thanked Malaysia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Saifuddin Abdullah, for "refuting Israel claims" that his country will join "the train of normalisation with the Zionist entity."

The movement also expressed its appreciation for Malaysian "support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Zionist occupation."

21 Oct 2021; MEMO: The Israeli occupation authorities have expelled the head of the Islamic Cemeteries Care Committee, Haj Mustafa Abu Zahra, from Jerusalem, Safa news agency has reported. The expulsion order is in place for 10 days and was made a day after he was arrested and taken for interrogation.

Eyewitnesses said that occupation police and intelligence officers arrested Abu Zahra in Al-Masara neighbourhood opposite Damascus Gate in occupied Jerusalem. He owns a food store in the area.

20 Oct 2021; MEMO: All investigations into the war crimes and abuses committed by British soldiers in Iraq have now been closed, without resulting in any prosecutions.

The Service Police Legacy Investigations (SPLI), which was staffed by Royal Navy Police and Royal Air Force Police, has investigated the claims by Iraqi civilians of British soldiers' serious criminal behaviour which are alleged to have taken place from 2003 during the US-led invasion, until 2009.

Muzaffarnagar, Oct 20 (PTI) A court here has acquitted twenty more accused in a 2013 Muzaffarnagar communal riot case due to lack of evidence against them.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Kamla Pati has acquitted them Tuesday saying the prosecution has failed to prove charges against them.

The acquitted accused were identified as Kapil, Dushyant, Ajay, Ravinder, Vikas, Rahul, Sachin, Amit, Rajiv, Jaipal, Anuj, Sudhir, Kuldeep, Mohit, Baru and five others, all of Lank village in the district.

Agra, Oct 20 (PTI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's regime, the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh has deteriorated to a new low.

The Yogi regime has the policy of killing and granting compensation as seen in Gorakhpur and Lakhimpur Kheri, he told reporters after meeting the family members of the man who died in police custody.

20 Oct 2021; MEMO: Kuwait's emir today paved the way for an amnesty to pardon dissidents, which has been a major condition of opposition lawmakers to end a months-long standoff with the appointed government that has held up planned fiscal reforms, Reuters reports.

Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah tasked the parliament speaker, the prime minister and the head of the supreme judicial council to recommend the conditions and terms of the amnesty ahead of it being issued by decree, Sheikh Nawaf's office said.

Shocking levels of abuse were uncovered by the report, whose authors issued a warning that "The State of Israel has abandoned these women."
