India: Two bogies of goods train derailed near Chaubepur in Kanpur

Kanpur: Two bogies of goods trains going towards Bilhaur derailed near Chaubepur railway station here.

There was a commotion at this incident. The railway division has come into alert mode.

It was reported that the accident occurred owing to the cattle suddenly coming in front of the train near Hanuman temple in Chaubepur.

The driver slowly brought the train one kilometer ahead and stopped it at the station.

According to the information received, two coaches of the goods train going from Kanpur to Bilhaur suddenly got off the railway track at 4:30 in the morning in front of Gram Vidyapeeth Vidyalaya of Chaubepur.

The traffic remained disrupted for about three hours. Train No. 22532, 09417, 1940 were are stopped at Chaubepur, Shivrajpur and Uttarpura.

About a dozen trains were stopped at nearby stations. The repair work lasted for about four hours.

On information, Dr. Harish Divisional Officer started the investigation. He told that in an attempt to take the driver of the goods train safely, a rail route up to five hundred meters was damaged.
