Kanpur: Kanpur university Examinations admit card disbursement work was being conducting at DAV College premises here on Monday. Hours later there was an uproar and the work was disrupted.
When the office clerk was approached he simply said I could do nothing. They disturbed the process.
The students who did not get the admit card remained real sufferers of the noisy spectacle.
First, there was slogan shouting by striking employees of the college and later the students raised the slogans in protest.
Some students who reached the college from far off places looked nervous and sad for they waited long in the queue. As their turn was to come slogan shouting began.
No college authority was present to assure the students that they will be allowed to appear at the examinations beginning on May 12 at various districts.
One student told that she was standing in the queue and about to reach the desk but missed the chance to receive admit card following the sudden disorder.
