India: Elders facing troubles at city's vaccination centres

Kanpur: Emotionally furious at inefficiency prevailing at the city's various vaccination centres the elder people have urged the health department officials to think of some disciplines in the arrangements.

They have indicated that they cannot suffer the long wait for the first dose. Worse, it is suddenly warned that the mandatory dose has been over so come tomorrow.

"How can this be possible?" asked the old people who after wasting a long time do not succeed in taking the jab. This condition stays at most of the government vaccination centres in the city. Even the hotter weather does not help them to stand for a long time in the centre's scant space, they added.

As many as 126 govt centres providing the jab facility. One Booth manages the vaccination of 130 people daily. The people are reaching there. Safety remains the number one priority for them. They want to keep life safe by taking jab but fail due to some kind of frailties. Long wait at the booth, paucity of jabs, limited numbers are some of the drawbacks causing trouble to elders people.
