Kanpur: The real feel of day temperature stands at 24 degrees Celsius in Jajmau on Friday afternoon. The minimum temperature has been recorded at 10° Celsius.
Yesterday night's thunderous sky that brought thunder, lightning and rain wholly changed the weather to its previous days.
At early morning there was rain and lightning. The clouds were also roaring but the devouts did not fail to offer early morning prayers at the nearby masjid in time.
What was unavoidable was certainly power cut for a little longer duration with the irregular restoration of power supply in Jajmau. Although thee electricity was restored during the night with only one cut.
One resident told the water problem was not irritating due to cold weather. The most complicated situation was faced on the mobile side as the power cut kept this gadget redundant and valueless for mobile users.
Eldest son of a father said: "Papa shivers as icy cold weather has retreated suddenly. Not only Kanpur but Delhi too experienced rain on Thursday evening."
