India: BJP leader asks police to rescue his father (a bull) from toilet pit

Meerut: BJP worker Rajiv Tyagi, president, Kharkhoda Vyapar Sangh, went to the police station and asked help to rescue his 'father' from a pit. It was revealed later that the ‘father’ he wanted to be pulled out of the pit was actually a bull.

Station officer of Kharkhoda police station, Rajender Singh mentioned Tyagi's complained: "My father, bull and mother cow had gone for a morning walk during which my father fell into the water tank over a toilet and this happened because of the poor quality material used by Nagar Panchayat officials. We demand strict against them or we will launch agitation." Yogesh Tyagi, a councillor of Kharkhoda Nagar Nagar Panchayat also accompanied him.

Singh confirmed that he got such a complaint from Tyagi, who was accompanied by the councillor. "But Tyagi did not give us any written complaint and left after bull was pulled out of the tank.” There is no FIR filed in the matter as such,” he added.

According to the Times of India, “The incident took place on Monday in Kharkhoda on Mohiuddinpur Road. A stray bull climbed the tank which collapsed under its weight and fell into the water. When the Tyagi reached the spot, he blamed the civic authorities for poor construction and sought help from the police.”
