India: VDO Exam: 5 examinees fled with copies

KANPUR: As many as five candidates appearing at examinations of village development officer run away with their answer sheets from the centres here on Saturday. The centre in-charge lodged first information report against them at the police station. Besides, two candidates were also caught for copying.  

According to available news reports, Komal Gupta from Vrihaspati Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kidwainagar, Ashish Kumar Singh from GSS Convent Inter College, Jajmau, Krishna Kumar Singh from Shatrughan Singh Inter College, Kalyanpur & Anjali from GGMV Higher Secondary Inter School, Shyam Nagar fled with their respective answer copies from the examination centres.

While Brijendra Singh from Seth Motilal Kheria Anatan Dharm Inter College, Vishnupuri and Vinay Kumar Radhika Vidyamandir from Shyam Nagar examination centres were caught while copying.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force has caught two solvers and one candidate after the raid at an examination centre in Chakeri area here. Forged admit card, Aadhar Card and other things have been seized from them.

The Incharge, STF, Ghanshyam Yadav said that two solvers viz., Manish Kumar, r/o Kaimur Bhahuwa in Bihar and Vikrant Kumar of Patna were held in this regard. In addition to them, a candidate Manoj Kumar Pal of Prayagraj was also captured. Nagmani Pandey of Bholpur in Bihar was stated to be their gang leader.
