Panki-Bhaupur third track opened

KANPUR: Not only the railway passengers but also the railways would now take a sigh of relief from an unnecessary delay of the trains. The trains coming from New Delhi used to stand. The much-awaited 17-km long third railway track for the passenger trains has now been opened.

The trains can run at a speed of 120 Km per hour, according to the railways. Trains used to be delayed at Bhaupur station because of the traffic rush. The paucity of an extra track made the trains stand at Bhaupur and Panki stations for hours.

With the clearance of the third track from Bhaupur to Panki, the problem of delay seems to be over. The trains will run straight to Kanpur Central station within 25 minutes.
