India: Coaching brochures directly provided to examinees

Kanpur: Board exams are going on in different allotted centres of the city areas. A strange sight is seen at the time of the end of the examination. One, two or three representatives of the varied coaching institutes taking the brochures remain busy in distributing either to the examinees or the guardians.

As these young men come a little earlier at the centres they do not forget to first hand over the brochures to the guardians. If we minutely study at the guardians' face they sometimes do not fathom the content. But they prefer to take the copy.

More than this the examinees coming out of the gate even do not show much interest in the brochure. This is because of their exhaustion after writing the answers for three hours. They just take and move forward. They even do not accept the  brochure copy.

The brochure informs of coaching in every stream. When the boys distributing the copy were contacted they said if our efforts bring at least one student to the coaching class it is worth noting. Though one confident boy told at least ten students turn up if as many as fifty copies of the brochure are freely distributed.

They also cleared that exam time was the best occasion to give complete information and the brochure fulfilled this purpose fully.
