Lebanon’s PM Vows To Solve Economic, Financial Problems

BEIRUT, Dec 25 (NNN-NNA) – Newly appointed Lebanese Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, said, he will form a government, capable of dealing with economic, financial and social woes in Lebanon, local media said.

“When we form a government that gains the confidence vote of Parliament, we will turn to the implementation of projects that are in the interest of the Lebanese people, on the economic, financial and social levels,” Diab was quoted as saying.

Diab vowed that he will work with a specialised team in the new government, while adding that he is also relying on the support of the Lebanese people.

Diab said earlier that, he would form a government of experts, to deal with the economic and political challenges.

Diab was appointed prime minister last week, and he is expected to form a government in the coming few days, to solve the prevailing economic and financial crisis.
