Bengal BJP’s Bandh call flops

Kolkata, September 26; GANASHAKTI: It became a show of strength  by the Sanghi’s  as the Bandh call by the BJP became a terrible  as working class people from Transport workers to Mill workers went to join in the work, and many even  under strain helped to flop the bandh call.

There were  sporadic violence  however that could not deter people  from venturing out. In Pandua BJP workers bombed a school in frustration as the school was running despite the Bandh call.

In Kolkata  the traffic flow in the  EM bypass was 70 to 80% normal, while packed trains were stalled courtesy a lack lustre administration and Railway police. However  the Bandh call could not deter the Adhikar Yatras   and Durgapur industrial belt was today bustling with a huge Adhikar yatra  which was flambouyant with determination of the working class.

The Asansol belt however was terror struck  keeping in mind the last years riot  however  Shops schools and colleges  and state Secretraiat functioned normally with over 95% attendance. It was the Kolkata high court too which played a spoilsport  as they too called called on the Government to stem the Sanghis’ violence.

However Vidyasagars Birthday celebrations  continued in many places as  Adhikar Yatras and Vidyasagar Birthday observation  portrayed the penchant of the working class to guard the  Values of society  even if  they are severe threat from the  miscreants.

CPI(M) Leader  and Party CC member Rabin Deb in a prèss conference  at Muzaffar Ahamad bHawan sharply pointed that how can a Bandh call  was called by the  BJP which through out the country has been accused of beating up students  can call a Bandh call? Be it JNU, Hyderabad university  everywhere  they  are beating up students, and how can the students community have any affinity  for the call of the Bandh against two students killed in Islampur?
