The watchman tried to close the gates when he saw farmers herding the cows towards Tahseel compound.  But the angry farmers forced open the gates and pushed the cows through into the compound.

Farmers are complaining that these feral cows are destroying their crops. When they shoo the cows away from their farms, they just move to the next farm. This creates quarrel between the farmers.

If these cows get killed or hurt by a truck, then gau-raksak rob the truck driver.

Farmers complained that the government is doing nothing to solve the problem, and threatened for road blockade if no action was taken.

According to Punjab Casary report, “on one hand, political leaders are playing politics in the name of gau-mata but, on the other hand, these cows have become absolute nuisance for the farmers. Cows are exposed to the accidents, but no one is bothered about it. Politicians are just spreading hatred in the name of gau-mata.
