India: Walsh gives bowling tips to young cricketers

Kanpur: In order to prepare fast bowlers in Uttar Pradesh, Courtney Walsh, former fast bowler of West Indies gave tips to budding cricket players in a 15-day bowling training camp here on Monday morning. 

Interacting with the young players, the big name in the cricket world suggested them the initial informations about the fast bowling. He pointed out that a bowler's laxity beneits the batsman fully. Through the video clips he made them clear how to improve over errors. 

Earlier he was introduced with the players as the tradition required. Afterwards he also listened the players' views attentively. 

He also learnt what type of bowling they preferred most. 

In the evening session the famous fast bowler along with RP Singh(senior), former pacer from UP asked the players to do some workouts.

Later he acquainted every player with the intricaies of the bowling. It included how to grasp the ball, to make the ball deadly by grip, to change the course of the ball to dodge the batsman. 

Walsh was also seen with IPL cricketers Nausheen Khan and Amit Mishra on the club ground. As many as 21 bowlers were taking part in this fortnightly camp.
