India: Passengers suffer extremely at goods train derailment

Kanpur: Hundred of passengers took the help of another vehicle to go to their respective destinations following the goods train derailment near Prayagraj.

They even cancelled their reservations which were a scence on the railways counter.

As many as 1823 passengers got their reserved tickets cancelled, said CMI S Shukla. The enquiry counter was also heavily crowded.

By the evening the first train passed on the repaired track was Lucknow-New Delhi Shatabdi. It was followed by Magadh Exp.

Though more than three dozen trains remained affected, HAD, TAD and EMU passengers trains moved on the track.

NCR PRO A Singh said that various trains changed their routes.
