Kanpur: A scheme develops for the project across Lucknow, Kanpur and Jhansi. It is perceived that this initiative would lead to the inception of around 70 ancillary units.

Remarkably, the stabiliser of the Pinaka missile is produced in the Ordnance Factory here.
Now, the latest plans will make it a prominent hub for defence manufacturing.
