Kanpur: It was after thoughtful deliberations both IIT, Kanpur and Indian Air Force entered into a detailed approval.
According to the available news, the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and the Indian Air Force signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
It made them to establish an Air Vice Marshal Harjinder Singh Chair of Excellence Research Scholar Programme (RSP).
It will help to qualify serving officers from the air force to avail direct admission to higher studies like M.Tech and e-Masters programmes.
They could also accomplish a doctorate of PhD at the famed institute.
The officers will thus get an opportunity to undertake time-bound research in the various departments of IIT Kanpur.
