India: Offline classes still not attracting students to school

Kanpur: There was a throng of the students outside the senior secondary school in the afternoon here.

They were readying to return from school. Some of them even got on the four-wheeler, while others were mounting on the two-wheeler. A few were moving onward on their bicycles respectively.

As the road was not wider the gathering of a few students presented a view of the crowd. The moment vehicles passed there was ample space.

One was overheard saying such a spectacle was seen after many months. But soon another stated the schools have definitely opened but fear of virus is still not over.

The schools are arranging the provision of sanitising the hands and checking the temperature. If we say the distancing is not strictly followed it would not be incorrect.

Though the students are not blundering in wearing the mask. They are following this norm in a stricter sense.

While talking to the students it has been known that they look excited at joining the school the presence of the students does not go a hundred per cent. Some said the time of noon for the closure of the school irks them. The heat of the Sun remains unbearable.
