India: Students grin at heavy teaching on school's first day

Kanpur: As schools are opening the students are still not wholly free of fear from the Covid-19 virus. A few of them stayed at home and talked to those who joined offline classes on Tuesday.

The classes strating at 7.30 a.m. continued upto the noon.

The curiosity among them was apparently clear on the students' tensed faces. After months of closure, they entered the gate of the school. One said, "it was a different kind of entry with the mask on the mouth, sanitising hands and maintaining distance."

Another did not quip by saying that they were taught too much that I felt like jumping from a height. Why was an extra study on the very first day?

It looked as if the teachers were also interested in finishing out everything in a single day.

Third maintained: "Opening of the school ended the desolate glimpse of the building."

Fifth added why was so much hurry in starting the offline study when the virus has not disappeared from our surroundings.
