India: No to Chinese, choice falls on cartoon character rakhi

 Rakhi

Kanpur: Like every year the Rakhi market has been attracting customers this festival too with the same traditional fervour.

There are a crowd of people on the stalls selling varieties of the pieces of rakhi in the city's different markets. The sale has gone in the bigger aggregate, as reportedly said.

According to one conclusion, children are fond of purchasing those rakhis which are carrying cartoon characters. The liking for such sort of hoop dominates the market like a craze.

What remains to be seen in the market is the ouster of the Chinese rakhis. The buyer's taste has gone a complete change this year.

Sensing their mood the shopkeepers have thought it fit to arrange rakhis of different sizes, shapes and images but avoiding display of the particular Chinese variety.

One customer made it clear that the festival enthusiasts are throwing their gaze upon an entirely unusual variation this time.

When the customers were asked to comment on their change in selection, they do not mind uttering that this is a race for pursuing the trend. Perpetrating something new remains constantly in the mind.
