KANPUR: Would be doctors dared their courage to copy in the MBBS final year examinations. Spiritless evidence of their daring act has also come to the notice of the competent authorities.
They were caught red-handed as the palms showed something important written. This annotation could be of their assistance in writing the answer but the observant university official prevented their step.
As many as eight students were caught on the spot. This development caused confusion all around the medical college. It was learnt that a total of 193 examinees were appearing for the medicine paper I of the final year in the college two rooms. The schedule was slated for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The university official Manoj Singh handed over the question papers envelope to the examination in-charge Dr Sunita Raj. Suddenly he felt a necessity of inspecting the two rooms so he began taking a round of the space. His roving eyes caught something irregular and when he came near the examinees he saw no less than 8 students copying through a novel way. They had written some facts on their respective palms. This was soon photographed and the trapped students were told to exchange their answer copies from new ones. This was the method to collect evidence in regard to the copying. However, the GSVM college acting principal and examination in-charge tried hard to solve the intricacies amicably but in vain. A lot of headache and worry would have occurred to the cheating examinees. They must have heard scoffs from an angry and calm supervisory body.
