India: 20 cases listened to first court at Kanpur Police Lines

Kanpur: As many as 20 cases were attended at the first temporary court held at Police Lines conference hall here on Wednesday. It was held following district declared as police commissionerate.

According to reports a total of 25 accused were present before the court. Decision was taken in view of severity of cases. Bail was also granted in various cases.

ACP Dr Manoj Kumar said that the process would be improved sooner. 

Along with three officers, the ACP Alok Singh reached the court at 3 p.m. The court procedures lasted till the evening. There were seen certain deficiencies but rectified soon, as was assured.
