KANPUR: As many as 1.10 Lakh voters have been included in all the ten assembly seats of recently published voter’s revised list.
Women have shown interest in registration and Kidwai Nagar assembly constituency has seen a marked increase of 7,479 female voters followed by Kalyanpur (7,364), Cantonment (7,244) and Govindnagar (6,973).
If we look at a total number of male voters in Cantonment seat the number of the male voters comes to 185723 and female voters’ number remains at 147855.
In the voters' revision drive, there was found as many as 88328 dead voters whose names were deleted from the voter’s list.
New voters will soon get their respective voter’s identity card. The final list for 2019 Lok Sabha polls has already been published on January 1, 2019.
