A detailed report will soon be forwarded to the Railway Board for running of the train on this newly laid track.

Earlier, there was metre gauge track on this route. But it was closed 15 years ago. The broad gauge track had been laid one year ago. About six crore rupees have been spent on its electrification.

The MEMU train was tested  on this track by running at a speed of 60 kms/h speed. It took merely12-minute to complete the length of distance.
