Kanpur: The limits of Kanpur Development Authority will be increased in the new master plan. There will be emphasis on the development works.
As many as 386 villages will be included in the 2031 Master Plan. Akbarpur's 58 villages will be brought under its precincts.
Suggestions have been sought. All the departments have been told to produce details of the proposed plans and also of the present plans so that the finalisation of land use could be prepared.
A few builders have raised demand to change the land use of the closed mills.
Industrial units which do not bring pollution can be provided land in the fresh plan.
Focus on the river Ganga has also been given in the new plan. Along with this, there is also given attention on solving serious problem of traffic jam.
Spot verification is also underway. The draft is supposed to be ready by March 31.
