The National Highway Authority of India project director has requested the SP traffic to give his consent regarding the closure of the bridge from March 6.
A 50-year-old bridge bears the brunt of 2.5 Lakh vehicles loads daily on its 1900 meters long length. The bridge will remain closed for traffic upto 20 days.Its closure will bring trouble to commuters going towards Unnao and Lucknow respectively.
