KANPUR: IIT technician’s dead body was found at Murda Ghat alongside Ganga River here on Thursday. He died in mysterious circumstances.
IIT technician had been missing since January 7. His location was not accessible since he had gone to attend his friend’s father's funeral.
The 33-year-old Praveen Kumar, s/o Govind Prasad and r/o Naubasta Baudhnagar had been working as a technician at the aerospace department of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Upon getting information from the police the family members identified his dead body at the mortuary. Cause of his death could be known only after the post-mortem report.
