India: Elders looked excited in casting vote at Ghatampur

Kanpur: What has been seen in the bye poll of Ghatampur assembly seat was the enthusiasm of elder voters and the youths. Voting continued from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

One 92 years old voter was noticed in the queue to cast his vote at a polling booth in Ghatampur. He reacted that he arrived at the booth early because he believed in the voting first and then other work.

One 70 years old voter and another 69 years old lady voter also followed just the same message. 

Still another 80 years old man got the help of police on duty. The policeman helped him cross the road leading towards the polling centre.

Several other aged persons showed their verve and curiosity to vote on the day.
