India: 'Corona, pollution control & Development works on priority'

Kanpur: Corona, pollution control and development projects would be my priority, said Raj Sekhar, newly appointed Commissioner of Kanpur Division.

Detailing his prerogatives he made it clear that first and foremost inspection of the Covid hospitals would be conducted. Planning of one week, one fortnight and one month would also be chalked out to deal with the scare of Coronavirus, he added.

Further, he stated that all the preparations must be done beforehand in order to fight the virus spreading fast.

As the state government keeps the pandemics on its priority list, the administration should lend its full contribution in controlling the spread of the deadly virus. Thorough attention on lessening the mortality rate would be given.

He did not fail to mention that the problem of pollution also needed to be dealt with strong hands. A detailed action plan would be prepared for this very purpose.

As regards giving acceleration to the development projects he pointed out that no unnecessary negligence would be tolerated in speeding up the works.
