India: Why is Sanskrit book selling at higher price?

Kanpur: Buying a book of Sanskrit prescribed for the junior class under CBSE Board makes the guardians think thrice as the printed price shocks them.

The subject is very much compulsory to learn therefore the book needs to be purchased.

The selected book shops, where this book of a particular school in Jajmau area of the city sells, do not even offer some rebate on the course book.

Strangely enough, the book has good cover, nice pages, immaculate printing but all the glows appear to be done for a higher price, as several say.

A host of guardians think if this subject book also begins to be brought under the NCERT there will be a smaller burden in terms of money.

They also believe if only the NCERT books remain prescribed for every education board there will be a great relief for the guardians.
