India: Guardians meet DM on fee concession

Kanpur: It is supposedly for the first time the guardians are finding themselves totally helpless in depositing the heavy fees of the schools and colleges. They have been continuously urging the authorities concerned to cut the big fee amounts to at least half. However, their demand seemed to have still not been suitably assessed.

Their protest lingers owing to delay in timely action on the school authorities. The guardians raise the point when the schools are closed only tuition fee should be taken. That's why they raise demand for fifty per cent concession in fees in view of the Corona-19.

In a meeting held here with the District Magistrate, the Abhivavak Sangh urged him to consider their very basic matter on fees. The DM Alok Tiwari directed the District Inspector of Schools to formulate a schedule in this regard.

The District Magistrate Alok Tiwari clearly said if the complaint in regard to deduction of the student's name from the school register is received, action against the school would be taken. The students can not be deprived of online study in case of non-deposit of the fees.
