KANPUR: In the past 24 hours as many as three people died and three injured in different road accidents in South city areas of Chakeri, Vidhnoo and Naubasta on Wednesday.
One Vishal s/o Ram Babu r/o district Unnao was attending a birthday party at Lal Bangla locality here. He attended the party with his mother Soni, father and brother Rajat. On his return, a truck hit the bike from the back side in Chakeri. He came under the moving truck’s wheels while Rambabu, Soni And Rajat were injured.
In another accident, a 28-year-old Pintu Sharma s/o Sukhlal and r/o Hamirpur was taking his truck laden with sand to Lucknow. The truck wheel got punctured so he parked his car on the sideway. As he was walking along the road another approaching truck from Ghatampur direction crushed him badly.
In the third accident, a 40-year-old Sarvesh Singh r/o Simra village was returning his home by a bike. A truck hit his bike in Naubasta area. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
