KANPUR: Gorakhpur-Yashwantpur Express developed a technical snag due to knock with an animal near Unnao on Saturday evening. Not only was this hitch in the engine but the OHE line also damaged. This caused trains running on the railway line bring to a sudden halt.
As a result, the route was completely closed up. It took two hours to repair the broken overhead equipment line. The incident was reported at 4:27 pm which got repaired at only 6: 23 pm. Afterwards, the Lucknow-Kanpur track was opened for movement of the trains. As many as 45 trains delayed owing to this imperfection.
