India: Customers finding online shopping more helpful

KANPUR: Though shops in the city have been opened for a defined duration, online shopping is still preferred by the customers. They do not want to go to the market owing to the restrictions.

The roster system has been enforced. So, the shops will be opened on a rotation basis. In these 57 days of lockdown, a lethargic habit seemed to have been developed among the customers. Meanwhile,  the district magistrate Dr Brahmadeo Ram Tiwari said all the guidelines and precautions of the central and the state governments have to be strictly followed by the shops else they have to face legal action.

They expressed that online buying saved not only an unnecessary inconvenience but also enabling the customers to stay at the home. But what they rued was that they had to pay more in online shopping.

Some others pointed out that growth in online delivery of every item gives the impression of the gradual end of the markets. However, several others said could it that be? This was not so easy modification. It would stand to be a difficult thing.
