India: Men face trouble of growing hairs during lockdown

KANPUR:  As there is no likelihood of easing the lockdown period in view of its extension, the people are slowly and steadily depending on home deliveries of essential services like vegetables, fruits and others at the doorstep. What they seriously miss is the facility of barber services at the door.

Usually, the barbers were providing their home services in the past days but they stopped since their union was formed. Haircutting saloons were thus opened everywhere.

At this time of the pandemic, there is felt an acute need of the barbers but they are charging a big sum of rupees one hundred per head on a home visit. "This charge looks too much for people who want their hairs trimmed," said many.

Some asked, why was not a fixed-rate for a hair cut at the home? If this facility gets into the practice so long as their shops remain closed, it would surely be of great relief, accepted one and all. They also promptly added if this very arrangement comes into force sooner the problem of long hairs would end absolutely.
