A Bihari factory worker has raped a 14 month old girl in Sabarkantha district of Gujrat. Angry locals protested in streets, and attacked people from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
Protesters attacked the ceramic factory where the alleged rapist works, and torched the vehicles.
Protests were also held in Sabarkantha, Mahesana, Gandhi Nagar and Ahamdabad, where protesters damaged the houses and shops owned by non-Gujratis.
According to Punjab Kesary, police has arrested 150 protesters and arsonists, and registered 18 cases. Police has also stationed 16-20 SRP companies in areas occupied by non-Guratis.
