India: BJP & SP candidates for Govindnagar bypoll yet to come

Kanpur: Political stir intensifies with the declaration of Govindnagar assembly by-poll date. The main political parties like the BJP and the SP have still not declared its respective candidates. Though the Congress party has taken its firm decision to bring a woman candidate in this by-poll.

As regards the BJP, there is every attempt to bring a sold candidate from this very constituency. The probable candidates have been throwing their energy in winning the support of people. They appear to prove themselves quite an efficient candidate before the party leaders. Undeniably their list is long but the choice is only one. The party does not want to lose this important seat so it can consider on all sides prior to extending ticket to one suitable candidate.

The Samajwadi party seems to follow the same formula of the Bhartiya Janata Party of declaring candidature on the last moment. The party leaders have maintained complete silence on this matter. The political gazers say this seat has always been challenging for the SP. So, it is too better to evaluate and think properly.

As many as  358576 voters are registered in this assembly constituency. There are 195851 male and 162661 women voters in this constituency.
