Kanpur: Unrest prevails at DBS College over two teachers' spar on a certain matter. Though other teachers have said that discontent was seething for the past several days, the open rivalry has surfaced just now.
Students were also agitating over the point of throwing off the chair. They rejected that the chair was thrown off. It has no substance. It was a complete lie.
The dispute between associate professor and head of the department of the political science department of the college started on Thursday. On Friday the students gheraoed the principal urging him to conduct a transparent enquiry into the controversial dispute. They even pointed out that the principal was also present at the time.
They raised the demand for strict action against the guilty. Assuring the agitating students the college principal Dr RK Singh made it clear that both the parties will be properly heard. Afterwards, whosoever was found guilty, action against him must be initiated.
He also mentioned the Secretary had been given detailed information about the whole of the matter. Last decision would be taken by the Secretary.
