KANPUR: Wife demanded a set of mobile from her husband. Being a labourer he was unable to buy that costly item. He remained satisfied with his scant income in daily vocation. But the wife was not able to understand this point and remainec adamant. She made it a daily routine to ask for bringing one smartphone for her use.
Such kind of a matter has come to light at Shahpur Jogidera under Mangalpur police station.
Little earning and daily expenses restricted Rajeshnath, to buy an expensive mobile for his wife Nisha. Her insistence for the gadget was not stopping despite his compulsion.
The situation worsened with frequent arguments between them. Unhappy with the wranglings she went directly into the room and gulped down poison out of deep anger. Upon deterioration of her condition, she informed her relatives of consuming poisonous substance.
Flustered with the critical situation they took her to nearby Community Health Center at Jheejhak. After preliminary medication the doctors told that her condition was improving. The news report also informed of her leave from the CHC.
The CHC Dr Rajesh Kumar made it clear that she had consumed poison due to her husband's continued denial for purchasing a mobile.
