India: PVR policemen brawled for taking front seat

Kanpur: A strange scene erupted the people moving by the side of the road in Bitthoor on Sunday. Two policemen along with the Head constable were found to be quarrelling along the road. The people on the road did not fathom the exact cause behind their quarrel. When it was known to the department the oddity increased in several folds. All the policemen were on patrol duty in Bitthoor.

What was visible to the public on the road was their entanglement? One policeman was trying to pull out another policeman. This was quite puzzling for all the bystanders. The head constable stooped to drag out one policeman supposed to have slipped into not so deep ditch.

The news of their altercation reached the SP. Taking swift action against their discipline the SP sent the two policemen to the police lines and replaced the constables.

It was later known that they were fighting with each another for securing the front seat in the police response vehicle 100. This was childish indeed.
