India: As roof's plaster pulled down, bank's manager & senior staff argued

Kanpur: Heated argument ensued between the young manager and the old staff at the branch of a bank in Jajmau area over the roof's plaster peeled off suddenly on Monday afternoon. The clerk sitting on the cabin came out and the customers even rushed towards the road. Soon they again entered the branch for depositing and withdrawal of the cash.

The argument was not long. The senior staff was complaining of the delay in repairing the broken roof while the manager was agitated at his complaint. He told the staff that the engineer had checked the bad condition.

Actually the landlord was making some construction on the upper floor. Though the guard in uniform said that the work was not going on July 8. Despite this the roof's plaster was breaking and falling down.

Undeniably, the clerk's trepidation was right as the broken plaster stones were scattered on the corner of the cabin. As the incident of falling the plaster happened in the last hour of the bank's closure time, the customers were scant. Even the exit shutter gate was also locked. One or two customers who were seen looking for their work to be completed in haste.
