AMMAN, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Jordan's Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Sunday reiterated rejection of any attempts to create conditions leading to the forced displacement of the Palestinians.
The premier made his remarks during a cabinet meeting Sunday, the state-run Petra news agency reported.
He pointed out that international positions are clear against anything that may lead to creating conditions for displacement from the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
Highlighting Jordan's efforts in mobilizing international support to stop the brutal and ongoing Israeli aggression and the crimes committed against the Palestinians in Gaza, and Israeli settlers' violence against the Palestinians in the West Bank, he said Jordan will continue to provide necessary aid to the Palestinians.
He added that Jordan would continue its efforts to achieve a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza and then return to a serious political process with timeframes.
He added that achieving the two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict would help establish genuine security, stability and peace in the region.
